you say it's your birthday!?

it's my birthday too, yeah!
and i've already been spoiled.
i had a bit of a pity party last night wishing i was closer to home and could spend the day with friends and family. but then my husband made the world right and gave me some presents early and reminded me i'm already home. (and that home is where your heart is.)

oh yes, he did get me this beauty. isn't she pretty?

yes, i whine and complain about how "unfair" it is to be so far from the ones i love and to be living the crazy, unpredictable, completely out of the norm life that we live right now. but the truth is, i have it pretty good. a loving husband and family, 2 to-die-for-cute boys, a business i love, our health, i could go on and on. i am truly blessed.
